Date: Saturday April 24th 2010, rain date Saturday May 1st 2010

Location: Prospect Park, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Time: 7:30AM

NY Residents and Non-Residents who want to come would need a free NYC Detecting Permit. To get one you call the NY Parks Dept. Arsenal North Building on 5th Ave. in NYC at 212-360-2778 and they will send you the application. Fill that out and return it to get your free permit.

Yes, we all need to get the permit which is issued free.

Getting down to the nitty gritty to get your permit in time if you're doing it thru the mail.
You can also just go down to the Arsenal North building and pick it up there. bike2

Looks like we're going to be meeting up just north of the entrance to the Zoo on Flatbush avenue, there is a large section of the fence missing and we can walk right into the park there. Saturday morning parking is great all along the avenue too.
