Well with only 30 minutes and a half mile round trip to the dump and back I didn't have much time to explore. This is about 15 minutes worth of poking around. I haven't found the oldest part yet but from what I'm told there's a lot more to this dump. The finds are kinda neat, nothing really great yet but the site shows some decent potential. Some nice pottery bits and acl and art deco sodas so far. The pottery was left behind. A nice large preserves style crock jar still has about 3 more pieces to go before I bring it home. Well here's what I got and hopefully my next post will be even better with some older bottles. Swiz

Well now I'm stoked a bit. That insulator turns out to be a little more then what I expected. I emailed a guy from a porcelain insulator website and expected the usual .50 cents to a $1 estimate. Here's the email he sent me back. Swiz

Nice find!!  This is an early telephone style made by Fred M. Locke around 1902-3.  The GLEN marking is much tougher than the typical F.M.LOCKE marking.  There are not a whole lot of those around, so a little hard to accurately price -- I'm thinking $150-$225.  Fred M. Locke was the father of porcelain insulator production and was based out of Victor, NY from 1900-1904.  I'd suggest poking around that dump a bit more!

Its embossed Demerol. A highly addictive narcotic for pain relief. I believe these were made to have the top snapped of for sanitation reasons and quick use. It was usually given by injection. It is made for moderate to extreme pain. Sounds like good stuff to me. Swiz
